Zip Line Adventures

A woman crosses a zipline at Soaring Tree Top Adventures.

You and your family will make memories that last a lifetime at Soaring® Tree Top Adventures. After over five hours of ziplining over Durango’s beautiful rivers and forests in our fresh mountain air, you won’t want to go home!  Our longest span is over 1,400 ft in length!

The gear worn by our staff and guests during their zip line adventure is equipment made by the Petzl Company, a world-famous climbing and rescue gear producer. All harnesses and equipment are inspected for safety daily. Our unique course is so revolutionary that gloves and helmets aren’t necessary. With Soaring’s unique, Federally patented non-braking system, guests don’t even have to worry about slowing themselves between platforms, so they can focus on having fun!

As well as guest safety, our staff takes tree health very seriously. Our entire zip lining course is built without hooks, bolts, screws, or anything at all penetrating the trees. There is nothing that penetrates the bark of the old-growth Ponderosa pines. Sap flow and growth will never be impeded by Soaring’s eco-friendly system.

5-Star Soaring Experience

Cool Mountain Air.

Why do so many people choose Colorado vacations?  The cool mountain air!  Beat the summer heat Soaring through the cool shade of our Old Growth Ponderosa Pines near mountains of Purgatory Ski Resort off the Durango & Silverton train. During our zip line season, the average daytime temperature is in the 70’s with very low humidity.
